Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Surfaces on 3C with 25W Charging Support, Launch Likely Delayed

Samsung is working on a Fan Edition version of the Galaxy S21 series – Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. We already are seeing a lot of rumors surfacing on the variant online. Although speculations of it launching in August rife but it did not happen. According to a report, there might be delays due to production issues. Samsung, however, negated the alleged delay rumors. Now, the device has surfaced on the 3C certification website. The 3C certification reveals details regarding the charging speed and connectivity options of the S21 FE.

According to the listing, it carries the model number SM-G9900. Now, a listing for the same model number surfaced on the 3C certification website. According to the 3C platform, the Galaxy S21 FE supports 25W charging along with USB Power Delivery (PD) and Programmable Power Supply (PPS) protocols for fast charging. It also mentions the EP-TA800 travel adapter, which is a 25W USB PD charger from Samsung. However, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is expecting to ship without a charger. The listing also mentions that the Galaxy S21 FE will have 5G connectivity. Unfortunately, that is all the information we could gather from the 3C listing of the Galaxy S21 FE.

In the latest development, a Korean publication Herald has leaked the pricing details of the handset. As per the leak, the device is likely to cost around KRW 700,000-800,000 (roughly Rs. 45,800-52,300). In the end, it will be cheaper than the Galaxy S20 FE which launched at KRW 899,900 (around Rs. 59,000). Whereas, according to geekbench listing, the device will power on  Snapdragon 888 SoC. It runs Android 11 out of the box. We can expect a layer of OneUI 3.0 on top of the Android mobile operating system. However, these are some of the leaks which have surfaced unofficially for quite some time now for Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. Moreover, this listing shows an 8GB of RAM variant. This is hinting towards an 8GB RAM variant option for the device.
