Vivo X70 Pro Plus Surfaces on IMEI, Launch Seems Imminent

Vivo just launched its Vivo X60 series recently. The company launched three flagship smartphones under the series. It includes the X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+. However, it is only a few weeks since then and we are seeing the existence of a Vivo X70 Pro Plus surfacing online. It looks like the company is working on this X70 series.

Now, in a recent leak, courtesy of Mukul Sharma, Pro Plus surfaced on the IMEI database. This is hinting at the imminent launch of the series. Whereas, a previous report from China shed some light on the Vivo X70 specifications. Let us look at the new leak of Vivo X70 Pro Plus:

Vivo is already working on the Vivo X70 series after the recent launch of the X60 series. Ahead of the upcoming launch, specifications of the Vivo X70 Pro+ have leaked. According to previous leaks, the phone will come with a sensor bigger than 1/1.28-inches. The current X60 Pro+ has a 50MP 1/1.31-inch sensor.

Furthermore, leaks suggest that Vivo X70 Pro Plus will continue to feature Zeiss optics. However, details about the camera sensor resolution are currently unknown. The tipster has also revealed that the device will come with a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. It will pack a bigger 4,500 mAh battery and come with 66W fast charging support. Vivo will opt for a Samsung E4 AMOLED panel on the Vivo X70 Pro Plus. We can expect it to have 120Hz refresh rate support. It will continue to come with a Full HD+ resolution.

On the other hand, the camera setup of the VIVO X70 will feature an f/1.15 aperture. For those who are unaware, the larger the aperture size, the higher the amount of light that the sensor can capture. In turn, giving us brighter images. For example, Galaxy S21 Ultra features an aperture of f/1.8. Meanwhile, we can only wait and see what Vivo X70 Pro Plus and its series will bring in terms of its specs.
