Vivo is prepping up for another launch of a new Y-series smartphone. The company has launched quite a few budgets and mid-range Y-series smartphones in India. Sources have informed us that the Vivo Y75 5G will launch later this month in India. The most recent one was the Vivo Y21. To recall, it launched with a 5,000 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 680 processor. The company is now launching another smartphone under its budget smartphone series in India.

Moreover, some leaks have also suggested that the Y75 will come with 8GB of RAM and an additional 4GB virtual RAM via the Memory Fusion 2.0, which will use a portion of the internal storage as RAM for better multitasking. Furthermore, Sara Ali Khan will be the brand ambassador for the upcoming smartphone.

Earlier this week, some sources hinted that the Vivo Y75 5G could debut by the end of January in the Indian market. The report also says the company could quietly launch the smartphone on January 26, 2022, in the country. In addition, it also claims the smartphone will be featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, features a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, and pack a decent 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W quick charging.

Additionally, Vivo Y75 5G also received a BIS certification which revealed the V2142 model number. It also revealed a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC paired with 8GB RAM would power the handset. It will boot Android 12 out of the box. It will be a 5G smartphone, as mentioned in the name.
