Oppo Reno5 is featuring a flaunt 32MP selfie camera and a 64MP Quad-rear camera setup with AI Radiance Video beauty and AI Video enchantment. The smartphone is drawing its power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G under the hood with 2.4GHz clock speed and comes with a whopping 65W fast charging support. Oppo Reno5 also features the Android 11.1 with ColorOS11.1 skin on top of it for running the device.

OPPO has launched multiple devices under its Reno series this year and now the smartphone company has added two new devices to this line-up in China, the OPPO Reno5 and the OPPO Reno5 Pro. Speaking about the former, the Oppo Reno5 belongs to the premium range and promises an elegant camera setup, a gaming chipset and super fast 5G connectivity along with a monstrous charging capacity. Let us check all the features one by one for getting a deeper insight about this latest smartphone belonging to the Reno series.
OPPO brand has placed the OPPO Reno5 in the premium range and launched the device in two variants, one with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and another with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. As far as the pricing is concerned, according to the main website of the OPPO brand, the starting price of the OPPO Reno5 has been set as 2699 Yuan, converting into 33,397 Indian rupees. India launch of OPPO Reno5 is awaited.
The design of the Oppo Reno5 is orderly and clean with an almost bezel-less screen on the front, featuring a punch-hole on the top left corner for housing the selfie camera. On the rear side, the smartphone has been designed with a Quad-camera setup placed on a rectangular camera bump along with an LED Flash. Looking at the rear, the fresh look adds more to the aesthetics of the Oppo Reno5 and feels awesome in hand with just 7.9mm thickness and 172 grams of weight. The colour option in which the Oppo Reno 5 has been launched includes Aurora Blue, Moon Night Black and the Starry Night.
There are an in-display biometric fingerprint scanner and a Type-C charging port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grille on the bottom side. The power button is on the right side and the volume rockers are placed on the left side at a reachable location. The smartphone comes with Gorilla Glass 6 protection on both front and backside.
Oppo Reno5 is using a stylish 6.43-inch FHD+ OLED display with a screen to body ratio of 91.7% and resolution of 1080 Pixels. The display of Oppo Reno5 supports the refresh rate up to 90Hz, which can be lowered down up to 60Hz and the touch sampling rate, has been set up to 180Hz for enabling a smooth experience. For ensuring quality visuals, the pixel density is of the order of 410PPI and a peak brightness of 430nits.
The chipset that has been used in this smartphone comes with the suffix G, which is particularly meant for gaming and 5G connectivity. The Oppo Reno5 holds the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G under the hood with 2.4GHz clock speed and hiving eight CPU cores. The chipset is followed by the Adreno 620 GPU with 625MHz clock speed for ensuring the best graphics output. As for RAM, there are two options available, 8GB and 12GB. The internal storage is also available in two options, 128GB and 256GB.
On the software front, the Oppo Reno5 runs on the Android 11, with ColorOS11.1 skin on top of it. The additional features supported by the device include Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 5, GLONASS, GALILEO and QZSS etc. There is no support for NFC.
Oppo Reno5 is featuring a 64MP Quad-camera setup on the rear side. The Quad-camera is offering 64MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.7, 8MP Wide-angle Lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP Macro lens with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP portrait camera with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear camera setup supports 4K video shooting at 30fps, 1080p at 60fps and 720p video shooting at 60fps and also there is support for EIS video stabilization, Time-lapse, slow motion, AI ID Photo, Multi-view video and panorama etc.
On the front side, there is a massive 32MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4 and supports 1080p and 720p video shooting at 30fps. The smartphone is provided with LED Flash for lighting purposes.
There is a 4200 mAh battery under the hood for powering the smartphone. Oppo Reno5 is compatible with 65W Fast charging SuperVOOC Flash Charge 2.0, SuperVOOC, VOOC 3.0 and Quick charge, ensuring longer battery backup and faster recharging. There is a Type-C charging port for connecting the charger and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Oppo Reno5 comes with a stunning display and an upright processor along with a mesmerizing camera front camera.
