Realme GT Master Edition, the company’s latest 5G smartphone, was introduced in India on Wednesday. Realme GT Master Edition arrived with a 120Hz Super AMOLED display and triple cameras on the rear. It’s also available in a unique edition with a suitcase-like rear design. Vegan leather material is used to imitate the horizontal grid of a suitcase. Apart from this, there is a lot more to explore. 

Realme GT Master Price in India 

Prices for the 6GB + 128GB storage model of Realme GT Master Edition begin at Rs. 25,999. For Rs. 27,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively, you may get the phone with 8GB + 128GB or 8GB + 256GB storage. Realme GT Master Edition’s distinctive suitcase-like appearance, which is only available in Voyager Grey, is its main selling point. However, the phone is also available in Cosmos Blue and Luna White.

Realme GT Master Edition Design

The design language of the all-new Realme GT Master is quite unique and attractive here. Yes, the grey suitcase design is something that you’ll appreciate and it’s for the first time that you’ll find the company branding appealing with a superb signature below it. Also, the button-shaped camera module adds more to the overall aesthetics of the rear panel. 

Coming to the frame, it’s made of aluminium and there is a power button on the right edge and the volume rocker has been placed on the left edge along with a SIM tray. As for the bottom, there is a combination of a microphone, a 3.5mm headphone jack, speaker grille and a Type-C charging port. The top edge features noise cancellation support. Also, you’ve got an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. 

If there is something that I really liked about the Realme GT Master, it is the overall structure and build, which makes it very handy and you can easily manage it single-handedly.

The screen size is superb here, which measures 6.43-inches and there is a Super AMOLED panel with a whopping 120Hz refresh rate along with 360Hz touch sampling rate and when it comes to the brightness, the Realme GT Master features 1000 nits of peak brightness, which is extraordinary.

Snapdragon 778G SoC with up to 8GB of RAM powers the Realme GT Master. The Dynamic RAM Expansion feature allows you to add up to 5GB of memory utilising the built-in storage. With a dual-SIM (Nano) Realme GT Master Edition, you’ll get Android 11 and Realme UI 2.0. There’s up to 256GB of internal storage on the Realme GT Master Edition smartphone. A USB Type-C connector and Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and Wi-Fi 6 are among the connectivity choices. 

Realme GT Master Edition Camera

The camera segment of Realme GT Master Edition offers a 64MP triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, supplemented with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP sensor. The rear camera supports 4K video recording. The punch-hole on the top left corner houses a 32MP selfie camera, which is quite superb in terms of photography at the given price tag. You are provided with 720 and 1080 pixel video recording, although the 4K video recording is missing here, still the video quality is decent here.

Under the hood, there is a 4300 non-removable battery, which is sufficient for single day usage. Apart from this, the Realme GT Master has got support for a 65W super dart charger, which is capable of refilling the battery from 0 to 100% in approximately 33 minutes. For connecting the charger, there is a Type-C charging port. 

Realme GT Master Edition First Impressions

Speaking of the display, chipset and fast charging capacity, Realme GT Master Edition is an excellent performer in terms of these specs along with a mesmerizing design language. However, the rear camera could have been much better with an additional sensor and the battery capacity could have been more. Nevertheless, Realme GT Master Edition is a decent device at the given price tag.
