Tecno Camon 18

It’s yet another smartphone from Tecno, and it once again demonstrates the company’s capacity to produce better Camon devices. It departs from the same location as the Camon 17. As a replacement, the phone has a 6.8-inch FHD+ display, 90Hz refresh rate, and a centrally punched notch on the head and other improvements. Tecno Camon 18 price in India 

Pricing and availability information for the TECNO CAMON 18  smartphone in Nigeria has not yet been released by the company. However, based on the characteristics, the starting price for the line-up may be approximately NGN 82,300. (roughly Rs. 15,000). Also, there is no news about the Indian availability yet.

Tecno Camon 18 Design 

The Camon series has been host to many of Tecno’s well-designed smartphones. When it comes to the design, Tecno has done it again. In what ways does this design vary from what we saw on the previous model? It’s clear that Tecno has worked hard to cast off some of the design aspects that have previously bound it to an obsolete aesthetic. 

On the back, we have a gradient design with a camera module that is more noticeable than the Camon 17’s camera module. Furthermore, the fingerprint sensor located on the back of the device has been removed. Tecno is now using a fingerprint sensor that is positioned on the side of the phone. Heading to the front, we get a slightly larger 6.8-inch display than the Camon 17.

Tecno Camon 18 Display 

When compared to the Tecno Camon 18 P, the Tecno Camon 18 features the same huge 6.8-inch display with FHD+ resolution. While the two are quite similar, there is one significant difference, which is the refresh rate between them. The Tecno Camon 18 display has a refresh rate of 90Hz, while the Camon 18 P has a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Tecno Camon 18 Performance 

As for the CPU used to power the device, it is the MediaTek Helio G88 processor. This is a significant improvement over the Helio G85 processor used in the Camon 17. As far as performance is concerned, the CPU, in addition to the unavailability of a 6GB memory option, seems to be the primary difference. A 4GB RAM and 128GB storage are all included. On the software front, the Tecno Camon 18 is equipped with the HIOS 8.0 user interface, which is built on top of the Android 11. 

Tecno Camon 18 is equipped with a USB Type-C connector, a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities. The Internet connection speed in this device is limited to 4G, which means that fans will not be able to take advantage of 5G speeds.

Tecno Camon 18 Camera 

The Camon 18 cameras from Tecno are identical to those found on the Camon 17 in terms of numbers.  With a 48MP main camera and an f/1.8 aperture on the back, we’ve got a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth camera as well. On this set-up, video recording is limited to 1080p At 30fps. A 16MP selfie camera with video recording capabilities of 1080p @ 30fps sits on the front of the device.

Tecno Camon 18 Battery 

The Tecno Camon 18 is equipped with a large battery as well. In order to provide sufficient backup time, the device is equipped with a (Li-Po Non-removable) 5,000 mAh battery, which can be charged at speeds of up to 18 W. However, the fast charging capacity could have been increased to 33W as there is in the Tecno Camon 18P.

When it comes to Android smartphones, the Tecno Camon 18P is a fantastic option for anyone searching for a low-cost handset with a high-quality display and camera at a fair price. The same amount of money might be spent on a smartphone that supports 5G and has more sophisticated specifications, on the other hand.
