Honor Magic 3 Launch in India

Due to their inability to run Google apps, Huawei’s high-end smartphones have become dubious purchases after the Huawei ban in 2019. Huawei’s former sub-brand Honor, now owned by a separate company, has stepped forward to fill the gap. The Honor Magic 3 is the company’s first major worldwide launch since the Honor 20 in early 2019, reintroducing its premium brand, which was previously seen in restricted countries. This new smartphone is quite showy, with top specifications in almost every category. Let’s check all the details about the Honor Magic 3 before it makes its entry into the Indian smartphone market. 

Honor Magic 3 Price in India 

After a successful launch in China, Honor Magic3 series will soon be available in other regions. Honor Magic3 with 8GB/256GB will sell for €899 ($1,054). Honor Magic 3 expected price in India is Rs. 32,999/-, if ever it launches in India. White, Black, “Golden Hour” and “Blue Hour” (a pinkish-orange tint and a deep royal blue) are the four colours available with Magic3.

Honor Magic 3 Design

Without Honor’s slapped-on branding, we’d believe it was a Huawei phone. That means Honor Magic 3 features a super-curved display, a huge circular camera bump, and top-notch back cameras. Because a large portion of the Honor team previously worked on Huawei products, it makes sense. The regular Magic 3 has an IP54 rating.

All of the hues are inspired by the ‘magic hour’ in photography, which is the hour before sunset when colours appear good. The handset is available in white and black, as well as Blue Hour and Golden Hour.

Honor Magic 3 Display

Honor Magic 3 features a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1344, a refresh rate of 120Hz, with HDR 10+ support. It bends dramatically at the corners, a design feature Huawei also employs with its Mate phones.

Honor Magic 3 Processor

Honor Magic 3 features a Snapdragon 888 chipset, while the Pro and Pro Plus have the Snapdragon 888 Plus, which is currently the fastest CPU available for Android phones. With Flash Memory enabled, you may temporarily add 2GB of RAM to your smartphone.  It gets paired with 256GB onboard storage.

Based on Android 11, Honor Magic 3 run Magic UI 5.0. Interestingly enough, the worldwide versions will come with Google Mobile Services (GMS), which means customers will be able to download Google Play Store apps. A USB Type-C connector and dual-SIM support are among the connectivity possibilities. OS Turbo X, GPU Turbo X, and Link Turbo X are among the software features.

Honor Magic 3 Camera

Optically, the Honor Magic 3 has a triple back camera arrangement with a 50MP main sensor, a 64MP monochrome sensor, and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor with an f/2.2 lens. Some of the camera’s features include a 10X digital zoom, 4K HD video with electronic image stabilisation (EIS), and multi-lens video. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 13MP camera with an f/2.4 lens on the front.

Honor Magic 3 Battery

Honor nowhere mentioned how long the smartphone would last on a single charge, but the device should have plenty of juice owing to the 4,600mAh battery. A 15-minute attachment to the Honor Magic 3’s 66W wired SuperCharge connector may recharge up to 50% of the battery.

Despite its mid-range pricing, Honor Magic 3 is packed with a variety of satisfying specifications. This smartphone with crystal clear pictures, excellent photographs and a large amount of storage capacity on the inside promises to deliver on all fronts.
