Honor recently announced its first 5G smartphone in its X-series, the Honor X10. It will be equipped with the latest Kirin 820 processor and will be based on 7nm architecture. The Honor X10 will feature a triple camera system and will be equipped with an RYYB sensor. This device will support 9 5G frequency bands and it seems a promising device for the upcoming 5G era. This phone was recently launched on the Chinese mainland and it will soon be launching globally. Honor X10 is based on Android, even with ongoing controversies between USA and China.
Honor X10 5G Price in India
Honor X10 5G is currently launched in the global market with the base variant of 6GB+64GB priced at RMB 1,899 which converts to Rs.20,200. Honor X10 6GB+128GB variant is priced at RMB 2,199 (approx Rs.23,400) while the 8GB+128GB costs RMB 2,399 which turns out to be roughly Rs.25,400. It is available only in China as of now and the India launch is still unconfirmed.
Honor X10 is one of the most affordable 5G phones in the market.
Honor X10 features a 3D glass design and the device is sandwiched between glass. It features a pop-up selfie camera and the rear camera setup is inspired by the Samsung’s M series smartphones. The bottom part of the phone houses a USB Type-C charging port, a 3.5 mm audio jack and speaker grills. On the right side of the phone, you can see volume rockers and the power button which is placed beautifully at the place where your thumb normally rests.
The Honor X10 5G has a 6.63-inch full HD+ display (1080*2400 pixels) with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate. It has a great design with a pop-up selfie camera, so the bezels can get really thin. The display has a 92% screen-to-body ratio, which is a great use of the phone’s big body. That screen combined with a high refresh rate gives you a buttery smooth experience and feel a lot snappier than normal 60 Hz devices.
With a major focus on improving the 5G performance, Honor X10 comes with a Kirin 820 octa-core processor with inbuilt 5G modem and packs a Mali G-57 GPU which has a great performance. The Huawei Honor X10 scored 366553 in AnTuTu benchmark shows that it is a performance beast. It is better than 92% of the smartphones out there in the market, which coincidentally is also its screen-to-body ratio.
Honor X10 features a triple camera setup at the back with the primary sensor being 40 Megapixels with an f/1.8 lens, the secondary Ultra-wide camera is 8 Megapixel with an f/2.4 lens, and tertiary camera of 2 Megapixels with f/2.4 lens. The Pop-up camera on the front houses a 16 MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens.
Honor X10 houses a massive 4300mAh battery with 22.5W fast charge which can easily take you through the day.
The mid-range price segment of Honor X10 makes it one of the best values for money 5G smartphone. As everyone in the market is focusing only on 5G right now, Honor is also doing great in other aspects. The 90 Hz display panel, Kirin 820 processor, Great design and ergonomics are icing on the cake for this smartphone. But keep in mind that Honor X10 does not come with Google Play Services, which can be a massive setback.
