iQOO has launched two new devices in the Indian smartphone market. On Monday, during a virtual launch event, the smartphone company unwrapped the iQOO 7 and the iQOO 7 Legend. Speaking of the iQOO 7 Legend, the smartphone has been designed in partnership with BMW Motorsport and features an identical shape to the model surfaced in the Chinese smartphone market in January this year. iQOO has installed a superfast chipset along with a whopping fast charging capacity in this device. iQOO 7 Legend Price in India 

The latest mid-range smartphone from iQOO comes in two variants. The 8GB + 128GB storage version of the iQoo 7 Legend costs Rs. 39,990, while the 12GB + 256GB storage variant costs Rs. 43,990. The phone comes in a single Legendary colour option, which depicts BMW Motorsport’s symbolic logo. You can pre-order this smartphone from Amazon from the 1st of May. 

iQOO has gone with the legendary track design while crafting the iQOO 7 Legend and the design of this smartphone has won the world’s most prestigious award, the “2021 Red Dot Award”. Apart from the race track there on the rear panel, you’ve got a rectangular camera module at the top left corner. 

On the front panel, there is a small punch-hole at the top centre for housing the selfie camera and the edges on the front are flat, while on the rear these are curved. The right edge features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and the bottom side features the speaker grille, Type-c charging port and a SIM Tray. 

iQOO 7 Legend display is best suited for gaming and one of the smooth AMOLED displays that you’ll find in the Indian smartphone market. Yes, the display supports a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth and seamless experience along with a 300Hz touch sampling rate and measures 6.62-inched. Also, there is 1300nits of peak brightness along with a 6000000:1 contrast ratio and the iQOO 7 Legend display supports HDR10+ for elevating the overall visual experience and bringing out the truest colours. 

In the performance section, you’ll get both superfast speeds with the latest 5G technology and also enjoy the best gaming experience with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. Not only this, there is provision for RAM expansion. You are already getting a huge 8GB and 12GB RAM options and you can extend these up to 11 and 15GB respectively. 

One more thing that is worth mentioning here is the largest vapour chamber cooling system for overcoming the heating issues while playing graphics-heavy games. There are two internal storage options, 128GB and 256GB and the smartphone has got the best dual-speaker system with Hi-Res certification. On the software front, iQOO 7 Legend runs on Android 11 with OriginOS skin on top. 

On the front, there is a 16MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 and the rear side comes with a triple-camera setup, with 48MP ultra-clear main camera, followed by 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera and another 13MP portrait camera. iQOO 7 camera setup supports OIS anti-shake, Pixel shift Ultra HD imaging, Ultra stable mode for videos and, Video Pro mode, Extreme Night mode etc. 

In the battery section, iQOO 7 Legend comes stuffed with a 4000 mAh battery, though it should have been more. However, considering the battery efficient processor, you’ll have a decent battery backup. One thing that is stunning here is the addition of 65W fast charging, which according to the company is sufficient to fill the battery up to 100% within 22 minutes. So, you won’t have to charge your smartphone for multiple hours in order to resume your daily work. There is a Type-C charging port provided at the bottom for connecting the charger.
