Itel A48

Itel A48 is the latest entry-level smartphone from the Indian Smartphone company Itel. It was launched by the company earlier this week for serving the affordable section. Itel promises many features in this device such as a fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature. Since the competition is high in this section, Itel has tried to offer the basic features for ensuring regular usage. Let us have a look at Itel A48 for checking where it stands in the cut-throat market.

Itel A48 Price in India

The Itel a48 is available in one model with 32 GB of internal storage and 2 GB of ram. According to the most recent prices on Amazon, the Itel a48 model costs ₹6,400 for the Gradation Purple colour, ₹6,099  for the Gradation black and ₹6,398 for the Gradation green colour. Currently, Amazon has all three version available on its site but other sites like Flipkart has stopped selling them.

Itel A48 is featuring a slim design with a plastic back and frame. The front side features the conventional design with a thick head and chin, while the power button and the volume rocker are there on the right side. The bottom side is featuring a USB 2.0 charging port and the top comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the rear side, the smartphone is included with a dual-camera setup housed in a rectangular-shaped module along with LED Flash. Also, the rear panel is mounted with a fingerprint sensor and features a speaker grille.

For offering decent visuals, Itel A48 hosts a 6.1-inch HD+ display, featuring 720-pixel resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display comes with a pixel density of 276PPI for bringing sharp colours.

Itel A48 is powered by a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz and carries 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. Itel has offered 4G connectivity with Itel A48 and included the Android 10 operating system for offering a user-friendly interface.  

The camera section features a 5MP AI dual camera setup on the rear side along with an LED Flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The camera setup of Itel A48 supports AutoFocus and Auto Flash.

Itel A48 carries a 3000 mAh battery for managing your affairs throughout the day and there is a normal charging speed. There is a MicroUSB 2.0 port available for connecting the charger. 

Itel A48 features many specs that are outdated for fulfilling the present-day requirements. There is an outdated operating system and a meagre camera setup and also the storage is less. Although Itel has included a fingerprint sensor in this device, still the battery along with all other features makes it unsuitable for purchase.
