Motorola introduced the Motorola Defy 2 recently. Accordingly, the new Defy, like its 10-year-old predecessor, is designed for users who frequently work in hazardous settings that require them to carry mobile devices. At first sight, the price might seem high, but it’s worth it if you’re in the market for a tough phone. Motorola Defy price in India

Defy 2021 is expected to cost Rs 23,757 in India. It is believed that Motorola Defy 2021 will be released in the nation on December 31, 2021. The Motorola Defy 2021 smartphone may be available in Black or Forged Green. As for the actual pricing, there is no confirmation yet from the company. 

Motorola Defy Design 

It’s nearly completely encased in a tough plastic container with a rubbery feel and a 3D texture. That roughness improves grip, preventing it from sliding away from your hands or any other surface. Defy’s water and dust resistance grade of IP68 adds to its longevity. MIL-SPEC 810H compliant, the gadget can resist a 1.8 m drop to concrete. On the bottom right corner of the phone’s frame, there’s a specific hole for a lanyard.

Looking at the Motorola Defy, it’s clear that it’s not the nicest mobile gadget out.  The screen is encircled by bezels, especially that large chin on the bottom. Fortunately, the notch has a teardrop form, which is one of the most elegant options out there.

The buttons are all located on the right side. There are three of them, including the power, volume, and one that can be programmed. The power button has the same gripping feel as the body of the phone, while the other two are silver-painted. All three have a pleasant click and are distinct by touch, which may be useful if you use work gloves. There is a 3.5mm audio connector on top and a USB-C port on the bottom.

Motorola Defy Display 

There is a 6.5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass Victus display, which is one of the most robust glass displays available. The display is a 720p LCD, which has poor viewing angles and dims when viewed from the side. Defy’s peak brightness is also ineffective in this regard.

Motorola Defy Performance 

The Motorola Defy is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, the same octa-core, 2 GHz chipset seen in the Moto G30. In terms of memory, the smartphone features 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and the potential for extension through a microSD shared SIM slot. The processor is powerful enough to run light to moderate gaming on the tiny 720p 60Hz display. The Defy performs well in ordinary chores as well, with little to no stuttering.

Motorola Defy Camera 

On the back, there’s a 48MP camera with a macro lens, and a depth sensor, while the front-facing camera has an 8MP sensor. Unless there’s a lot of light, the primary camera shoots decent-looking pictures with a reasonable degree of sharpness. Aside from balancing shadows and brightness in difficult conditions, HDR appears to perform a good job. Lastly, when it comes to video recording, both the rear camera and the front-facing camera can capture in 1080p videos.  In general, the quality of the video is sub-standard.

Motorola Defy 2021’s Battery 

Other than its durability, Motorola Defy 2021’s battery life is one of its most impressive features. Yes, it takes a long time to charge up to 100 per cent, as one would anticipate with only a 20W fast charging and a large 5000mAh battery. Despite this, the battery is much slower to kill than it is to charge.
