The new service will be automatically activated for all Airtel mobile and broadband customers, with no additional cost or manual setup required.
How Does It Work?
This fraud detection tool combats the growing threat of online scams that often lead to financial loss, the tool leverages company’s advanced threat detection platform. It performs real-time domain filtering across platforms and proactively blocks malicious links across user devices—adding a powerful new layer of digital safety.
According to Airtel, whenever a user attempts to access a malicious website, its advanced security system, the page will immediately block. Instead, the user is redirected to a warning page explaining why the site was flagged. The company emphasized its ongoing commitment to cybersecurity, stating that it will continue to work tirelessly until its network is fully protected against spam, scams, and fraudulent activity.
