Battlegrounds Mobile India release might be right around the corner. Developer Krafton took to Twitter to share a teaser poster for the game. The teaser poster says, “It’s almost time.” However, the actual release date of the game has not been revealed as of now. PUBG still has a massive loyal base of players who have been waiting for the game’s remake to hit the country. Fans are very excited and restless to get back into their favourite battle royale with their friends.
Previously, some reports suggested that the PUBG remake would launch in India on June 18. However, from the looks of it, it might arrive sooner than expected. PUBG Mobile was banned in India back in September of 2020. Moreover, 117 other apps were banned along with it. There were rumors about Call of Duty: Mobile to get hit by a ban wave as well. Fortunately, that did not happen as Activision took all the necessary action to prevent that.
Battlegrounds Mobile developer Krafton shared the tweet via its official Battlegrounds Mobile India account. The tweet stated that, “It’s almost time. Time for re-building memories, playing with your friends and celebrating with chicken dinner!” However, it did not share any release date. The game went up on Google Play Store for pre-registrations last month. This is one of the reasons why many sources think that the game will release on June 18. It will be exactly one month since it went up for pre-registration on the Play Store. However, looking at the latest tweet by Krafton, it does seem like the game might release sooner.
Battlegrounds Mobile India: What more?
Krafton has been teasing the game since its announcement last month. However, they have not shared a release date for the game yet. Previously, a report also stated that Krafton is working towards finalizing a release date. Moreover, a lot of things have been teased so far in the past one month.
The developers have teased two maps, one being Erangel and the other, Sanhok. Sanhok is a smaller 4×4 map primarily meant for faster gameplay. Battlegrounds Mobile India developers will also bring UAZ jeep and a level 3 backpack. These teases bring back beautiful memories for players as they are familiar with these items. The game has recently gathered over 20 million pre-registrations. Moreover, this is just on Android as nothing has been revealed about the iOS availability of the game.
Furthermore, Krafton took over the ownership of the game and this has led to changes in management. The developers also tweaked the game to specifically cater to the Indian audience. Moreover, Krafton revealed exclusive in-game events in the form of outfits and features. The developer revealed these things at the time of announcement.
