The Game Awards 2021 which was held in December last year crowned It Takes Two as Game of the Year. Yesterday, the title received the GOTY award yet again, at DICE Awards 2022 this time. It Takes Two is easily one of the most popular and critically acclaimed titles to release in 2021.
What made the game stand out even more is how therapeutic it turned out to be for couples. The game was a massive hit and instantly regarded as the best game lovers could play together. The game itself is a co-op platformer which narrates the story of a married couple who are very close to getting a divorce. Besides, It Takes Two also bagged Outstanding Achievement in Game Design Award.
