With a number of leaks surfacing online on the Galaxy S22 series, the charging speeds of the series have always remained in the mix. Considering its status as one of the most awaited smartphone series this year, a lot of interest has already piled up. Now, ahead of its launch, the charging speed of the S22 lineup has surfaced once again. In addition, to this, there is a new DEMKO certification listing. This listing also confirms the fast charging details of the upcoming Samsung smartphones.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series DEMKO certification
According to a 3C certification, the vanilla Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will come with 25W fast charging. However, DEMKO certification shows the Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra with 45W fast charging among the Galaxy S22 series.
It indicates that the Galaxy S22+ and the Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones will have different charging speeds in different regions. The vanilla version, on the other hand, will have 25W fast charging only across regions. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S22 series’ press materials have also leaked ahead of the launch.
Meanwhile, Samsung is unlikely to pack a fast charger in the box. Customers will have to either use their old chargers or purchase one separately. Galaxy S22 series will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or Exynos 2200 SoC depending on the region.
On the other hand, the Danish certifying authority didn’t reveal the batteries of these smartphones. However, a recent leak revealed among the Galaxy S22 series, the vanilla will pack a 3,700 mAh battery. Whereas, the Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will ship with 4,500 mAh and 5,000 mAh cells, respectively. The leak also revealed the rest of the specs of the Galaxy S22 trio along with pricing and availability.
Meanwhile, the company is yet to confirm the details or the launch of the Galaxy S22 series as of now.
