Honor X20 5G To Launch On August 12; Teased Designs, Specs

Honor X20 5G will be launching in China on August 12, according to the company. To recall, Honor X20SE launched back in June – this will add another in its lineup. Honor has also shared a couple of specifications for the phone. It is revealing that it will be powered by a processor based on 6nm architecture. Moreover, the poster also hints it shows two colour options, a triple rear camera setup, and a dual-selfie camera setup.

Honor posted the announcement on Weibo with a poster showcasing the Honor X20. According to the company, the phone will be launched on August 12 at 7:30 pm in China (5 pm IST). The poster also shows two colour options, a blue and a light purple. Moreover, known tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) shared renders of the Honor X20 5G on Twitter showing a third black colour variant.

According to the images shared, Honor X20 4G will sport a triple rear camera setup. It looks like it is housing in a circular camera module. The setup includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor and details about the other two sensors are currently unclear. At the front, a pill-shaped hole-punch cutout is there, likely hosing two sensors. Additionally, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner can be seen as well.

Furthermore, the poster reveals support for 66W fast charging, a 120Hz refresh rate display, and a 6nm processor which is expecting to be the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900. Unlike its predecessor, Honor X20 5G comes with a flat display rather than a curved one. Moreover, the Honor X20SE has a different camera setup.
