iQOO is on a roll for the past few months with new launches and new upcoming products. Now, in a recent move, iQOO has confirmed to launch iQOO Neo 6 SE in China on May 6, 2022. This smartphone will be a successor to the iQOO Neo 5 SE that launched last year. But, this time around, a new poster reveals something about the camera’s setup for this new upcoming smartphone. iQOO Neo 6 SE to have a 64-megapixel OIS Primary Camera
According to the official teaser, the iQOO Neo 6 SE 5G will ship with a 6.62-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED display with support for HDR10+. The smartphone is also tipped to arrive with a peak brightness of 1300nits and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz. The company has confirmed the China launch of the iQOO Neo 6 SE via a Weibo post. The post also reveals that iQOO Neo 6 SE features a 64-megapixel primary camera. This is an upgrade from the 50-megapixel camera of the iQOO Neo 5 SE. The Neo 6 SE supports optical image stabilisation. Moreover, apart from this, the teaser reveals there is an 80W fast charging support on the upcoming smartphone. However, previous reports hinted that the smartphone would have 66W fast charging support.
Apart from this, under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to draw power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The same SoC also powers iQOO Neo 5 SE. We are also expecting it to have a 4,700mAh battery with an 80W fast charging support. In terms of software, the iQOO Neo 6 SE 5G will run Android 12 OS with Funtouch OS 12 across global markets. In China, it will have the same underlying Android version but will switch Funtouch for the newer Origin OS Ocean skin.
