iQOO T India Launch Imminent, Appears On IMEI Database

We are aware of the fact that iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO 7 series in India on April 26. However, a new leak suggests another smartphone namely, iQOO T in the pipeline as well. This comes just at it surfaced on the IMEI database recently, listing very little information. It’s quite evident the company is aiming to expand its smartphone portfolio in the country. In addition, it bears a model number V2019A.

Furthermore, a device with the same model number listed on TENAA back in 2020. It suggests iQOO T will come with a 6.53-inch FHD+ TFT display with 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. As per a MySmartPrice report, it is hinting towards an imminent launch. However, it does not reveal much except the model number.

Earlier TENAA listing claims it will come with a 4,420mAh battery (could be marketed as a 4,500mAh battery) with an 18W fast-charging support and 5G connectivity. However, the Indian IMEI database suggests the Indian variant may come with only LTE connectivity.

Moreover, iQOO T also reveals it can come with 6GB, 8GB RAM, and 64GB and 128GB storage options. The phone is said to pack a triple-camera setup, with a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP third lens with an LED flash. In addition, it may offer an 8MP camera sensor for selfies and video chats.

The TENAA listing includes renders of the phone, which shows it will look similar to the iQOO U1. Additionally, iQOO T will boot Android 11-based iQOO custom skin out of the box. Connectivity features could include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data sync.
