Leaked Google Pixel 6 Advertisement Hints at its Pricing

According to the company, Google is launching the Google Pixel 6 series on October 19, 2021. In the latest development, leaks offer details on US and UK pricing of the Pixel 6 range. Earlier, YouTuber Brandon Lee has leaked the European pricing details and colour variants of the upcoming launches. Although it looks like India is not one of the markets it will be launching in.

Moreover, the advertisements of the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro have also leaked online. It is also highlighting the design and key features of the two phones. The leaked ad in Australia has now provided the first official pricing detail of Google’s upcoming flagship series.

According to the advertisement, Google Pixel 6 will cost AUD999, which converts to about $740 as per current conversion rates. However, it is expected to be much cheaper in the American market than in the international markets. On the other hand, Twitter user Evan Lei tweeted that they saw the Google Pixel 6 series pricing at a Target store ahead of launch. It is tipping to be available at $599 (roughly Rs. 45,900) for the 128GB model whereas the Google Pixel 6 Pro may be available at $898 (roughly Rs. 67,500) for the base 128GB storage option.

On the other hand, the UK price of the Google Pixel 6 Pro has also leaked by tipster Roland Quandt. He spotted two variants on Amazon UK. The 128GB storage option is tipping to cost GBP 849 (roughly Rs. 87,800) and the 256GB model may be available at GBP 949 (roughly Rs. 98,100). The tipster claims that the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be sold in the UK from November 1, 2021.

Meanwhile, the ads also tease the new Google Tensor SoC, the Magic Eraser feature. The latter deletes objects and people in the background, and Live Translate that translates conversations, messages, and photos in real-time without Internet. The two Google Pixel 6 phones feature a hole-punch display with the cut out placed in the top center and integrate Security Hub for added protection against phishing and hacking.
