Xiaomi, in its ‘Smarter Living 2022’ event in India on August 26, will be exhibiting a slew of products. Through the teasers, Xiaomi has revealed these devices for the past few days. One of these products is the new Mi TV 5X.
Xiaomi has been venturing into different domains, right from mobile accessories to TV. Since 2018, Xiaomi has been releasing new versions of the Mi TV 4 series in India. While China has already moved over to the Mi TV 5 series, India is still stuck at Mi TV 4.
Mi TV 5X Features
The first TV 5 model will be called the Mi TV 5X. Xiaomi is likely to bring up big upgrades to the picture as well as audio quality. Mi TV 5X will feature metal frames with a bezel-less design. The smart TV will come with Dolby sound and picture preset that’s responsive to the environment. This feature suggests that the TV might sport an ambient light sensor which is a new add on.
The Mi TV 5X seems to be based on the Mi QLED TV series. It also might feature a far-field mic setup borrowed from the 75-inch QLED TV. It will also have an updated PatchWall experience and a faster new chipset.
Xiaomi is also likely to launch the much-awaited successor to the Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition. Xiaomi has specified a 16:10 aspect ratio, Intel processors, a 3K display on a metal unibody design. The notebook might compete with the recently launched Realme Book Slim in India.
The Chinese company is also bringing Mi Band 6 to India through this event. The band will feature the SpO2 sensor to track blood oxygen saturation along with heart rate monitoring and the usual step counting. It will also feature a larger 1.5-inch display extended to the edges of the tracker’s face.
