Motorola has confirmed launching the Motorola Edge 50 Pro 5G soon in India. It will be the first device in the Edge 50 series and will succeed last year’s Motorola Edge 40 Pro. Motorola Edge 50 Pro To Launch In India On April 3
Motorola will launch the Edge 50 Pro in India on April 3, 2024, at an event in New Delhi. The phone will go on sale via Flipkart, Motorola India website and leading retail stores.

The Motorola Edge 50 Pro claims to offer the world’s first AI-powered Pro-grade camera. Its tagline is “Intelligence Meets Art,” and it has a large camera island on the back with a triple camera setup.
Moreover, it will be available in three “Pantone-curated” colours: purple, Black, and Grey. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will also offer a Moto Premium Care service designed especially for Edge series users, with a 24×7 WhatsApp chatbot, free pickup and drop, a dedicated calling line, and a free standby device during the repair.
Specifications Of The Phone
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch curved pOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display will also have 2000 nits of peak brightness and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Motorola also claims it is the first phone to sport a Pantone-validated display, offering real-world colours and accurate skin tone. The screen has a 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and HDR10+ certification.
The Edge 50 Pro also boasts Pantone-validated cameras with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. You also get a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens with macro zoom and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 50x hybrid zoom.

In addition, it has AI features like adaptive stabilization, autofocus tracking, AI photo enhancement, and tilt mode. Previous rumours suggest it will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 12GB of RAM.
It will likely pack a 4,500mAh battery with 125W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The company has also teased the launch of a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 smartphone in India, which will likely be the Motorola Edge 50.
