Samsung hasn’t announced the Galaxy S27 yet. But the leaks have already started, and some of them look big. Samsung usually launches its flagships in the first few months of the year, so we may see the S27 in January or February 2027. After a long time, we might also see a different design style. Here are the Samsung Galaxy S27 features that leakers talk about most.
A New Galaxy S27 Pro Could Join The Lineup
This one is the biggest surprise. Reports say Samsung will sell four models: the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, Galaxy S27 Pro, and Galaxy S27 Ultra. The Pro would sit between the Plus and the Ultra.
The idea is simple. You get most of the Ultra’s power in a smaller phone, minus the S Pen. Leaks mention a 6.47-inch screen and the same camera bar design as the Ultra. A few reports still show only three models, so Samsung may change its plans.

A Fresh Design
Early reports call this one of Samsung’s biggest redesigns in years. The Ultra is said to get a horizontal camera bar instead of the usual separate lenses. Android Headlines shared a Galaxy S27 dummy image. It suggests the phone may look like the iPhone 18 Pro, with a bigger camera module. The standard S27 may change less. It could stay near 6.3 inches with a triple camera, much like the Galaxy S26.
Better Cameras
Cameras get lots of attention in the leaks, mostly for the Pro and Ultra. Some reports say the S27 and S27+ could switch from a Samsung sensor to a Sony one. Leakers also say Samsung is testing a few rear camera layouts and telephoto setups. The final plan is still unclear. Samsung has not confirmed any camera details, so expect changes before launch.

Faster Chips And A Bigger Battery
Samsung may keep using two chip brands again. Some regions could get the Exynos 2700. Others could get a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Reports also point to 2nm chips and faster LPDDR6 RAM on the Pro and Ultra.
If you live in India, check which chip your model uses before you buy. Samsung has split this by region for years. The Ultra usually gets a Snapdragon chip worldwide. The standard and Plus models often get the in-house Exynos chip in India. In past generations, Exynos phones tended to heat up faster during heavy use, which can hurt performance and battery life.
Battery size is a weak spot for Samsung phones, so this leak matters. The Ultra may move to a silicon-carbon battery. One leak says 6,000 mAh. Another says 5,500 mAh. The two numbers don’t match, so wait for the official specs. Either way, the Ultra should last longer than the S26 Ultra if the rumour holds.
A Sharper Display
The Ultra could get a newer M16 OLED panel. It comes from the same panel family reportedly used in Apple’s phones. Expect brighter colours and better power use. We might also see the privacy display on more phones in the S series. Last time, only the Galaxy S26 Ultra got this hardware privacy screen. It limits how well people can see your display from the side. Leaks say Samsung wants to bring it to more models, including the Pro. This is a handy feature if you read emails on the train or in a queue.

When Will It Launch?
Most reports point to early 2027, with Unpacked possibly in January or February. Samsung has not set a date. In recent years, its Unpacked events have fallen anywhere from mid-January to late February.
Final Thoughts
The Samsung Galaxy S27 features list looks strong so far. The Pro model, the new design, the bigger battery, and the wider privacy display stand out most. I would not trust any single number yet. Leaks change often, and Samsung may drop or swap ideas before launch. I will update this post when Samsung shares real details. Which feature do you want most? Let me know in the comments.
