Samsung is speeding up work on One UI 9 For Galaxy as reports suggest the company has started internal testing for several budget smartphones. While the public beta is currently available only for the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung appears to be preparing the software for a much wider range of Galaxy devices before the official release.
The latest internal test builds have appeared for budget models such as the Galaxy A07, Galaxy A17, and Galaxy A16. This move indicates that Samsung is actively working on optimizing the update across its smartphone lineup. Although this does not guarantee an early rollout for these devices, it gives the company more time to identify bugs and improve overall stability before the stable version becomes available.
One UI 9 For Galaxy Testing Reaches Budget Smartphones

Samsung has already been testing One UI 9 internally for flagship and mid range devices. The latest development shows that entry level Galaxy phones have now joined the testing program.

Early testing helps Samsung fine tune performance, improve battery optimization, and fix software issues before the public release. However, these budget models are not expected to receive the public beta. Instead, they are likely to get the stable version directly once Samsung completes development.
