OnePlus 9 Pro Tipped To Come With 50W Fast Wireless Charging Support

OnePlus 9 Pro will come with 50W fast wireless charging support, according to a report. Moreover, this will come as a significant upgrade over the OnePlus 8 Pro which supports 30W wireless charging speeds. Earlier, there were rumours that it will have 45W wireless charging. The flagship phone can also have reverse wireless charging. It means it can come in use to charge another phone. Furthermore, OnePlus is expecting to offer some software and hardware tweaks to its Pro variant.

The phone is also likely to have an upgraded thermal management system to deliver faster wireless charging experiences. Pricebaba in collaboration with tipster Ishan Agarwal reported that the OnePlus 9 Pro will have 50W wireless charging. With this, it can provide one of the fastest charging speeds without requiring a cable to be directly connected to the phone. Additionally, the OnePlus 9 series can also have 65W wired charging. It is just 15W higher than the reported wireless charging support.

OnePlus didn’t offer wireless charging on the vanilla OnePlus 8 last year. However, the company is likely to bring some changes this year. It may offer wireless charging support on the regular OnePlus 9 — alongside the OnePlus 9 Pro.

OnePlus will launch the OnePlus 9 series on March 23. Ahead of the launch, the company continued to release teasers of the upcoming flagship series. However, this time it is especially for the OnePlus 9 Pro. The teaser video shows us a good look at the back cover, which will sport a curved back panel design. Furthermore, it will come with four rear camera sensors with Hasselblad branding at the back.
