The latest Oppo Reno 16 Pro leak has revealed key details about the upcoming global smartphone before its official debut. The device has now appeared on Geekbench, giving a glimpse of its processor, RAM, Android version, and benchmark scores. The listing suggests that Oppo may use a different MediaTek chipset for the global model than the one available in China.
The Reno 16 series was launched in China last month with the Reno 16 and Reno 16 Pro powered by the Dimensity 8550 Super and Dimensity 9500s processors. However, the global variants appear to follow a different hardware strategy.
Oppo Reno 16 Pro Leak: Geekbench Listing Reveals New Dimensity Chip

According to the Geekbench database, an Oppo smartphone carrying the model number CPH2863 has surfaced online. Previous certification records have already confirmed that this model number belongs to the global Oppo Reno 16 Pro.
The listing points to the MediaTek MT6899 chipset, and its CPU and GPU details indicate that it could be the Dimensity 8500 processor. Since the Dimensity 8550 and 8550 Super share similar CPU and GPU architecture with AI focused improvements, there is also a possibility that the final device could feature the Dimensity 8550.
