Vivo has offiicially started the rollout of the Android-17 based OriginOS 7 for the Vivo X300, Vivo X300 Pro, and the Vivo X300 FE.
This update brings several major changes to Vivo smartphones, including a refreshed user interface, smoother animations, improved multitasking and enhanced AI capabilities. It is a large update, weighing over 5GB, and Vivo is expected to expand its availability following the initial testing phase.
One of the biggest additions in this OriginOS 7 rollout is Origin Workbench, which allows users to run up to five apps simultaneously. The update also introduces AI-powered features such as AI Call Answering, Call Overview, Smart Screenshot Recognition and AI Cross-App Drag for extracting and translating text between applications. Vivo has also improved its animation engine to deliver smoother transitions and more responsive interactions.
