Realme is gearing up for its next event, where it will release the Realme 11x and the Realme 11 5G smartphones. The company has now announced that it will also launch the Realme Buds Air 5 series of earbuds in India at this event.

Realme Buds Air 5 Launch Date in India
The Realme Buds Air 5 and the Realme Buds Air 5 Pro will launch on August 23 in India. These new earbuds are the successor to the company’s Air 3 series and will feature a stem-like design. The truly wireless earphones (TWS) will be available in two different colours and offer ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) to reduce up to 50 decibels of background noise. Thanks to the AI Noise suppression technology, the TWS uses the 6 built-in microphones to make your calls sound clear and decrease the amount of noise in your surroundings.

Realme Buds Air 5 and Buds Air 5 Pro Specifications
These earphones also support Hi-Res Audio, so you can get an immersive experience while listening to music or watching TV shows. The Realme Buds Air 5 Pro will feature an 11mm driver complimented with a 6mm planar driver. You also get Spatial Audio and support for LDAC codec, so you can enjoy listening to songs in their highest quality. The TWS can last up to 11 hours with ANC off and 40 hours with the charging case.

On the other hand, the Realme Buds Air 5 will get an upgraded 12.4mm driver and support for superfast charging that claims to offer 7 hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charging time. These Bluetooth 5.3 earbuds also support Dolby Atmos for a rich audio experience.
The company has not provided any details about the price, but we can get an estimate based on the Chinese pricing of these earbuds. The Air 5 Pro is currently on sale in China for a price of CNY399 (around Rs. 4,500); however, the price is expected to be much higher in India due to tariffs and taxes.
