Redmi is planning on launching their Redmi 10 smartphone soon. The smartphone has appeared in quite a few leaks recently. These leaks have given us an idea about what we can expect from the smartphone upon launch. Now, the smartphone has made an appearance on the IMEI database website which hints at an imminent launch of the device.
Noted tipster Mukul Sharma took to Twitter to reveal this piece of information. Further, the smartphone has been listed with the model number 21061119AG. Besides, the smartphone’s specifications are already known, courtesy of the recent accidental leak and Xiaomi’s official teaser. So, here is a quick rundown of all that you can expect from the upcoming Redmi 10 smartphone.

Redmi 10: What To Expect?
The upcoming budget smartphone will sport a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ LCD display. Additionally, the display will feature an adaptive refresh rate which switches between 45Hz, 60Hz and 90Hz. On the front, the display will sport a punch-hole design which will house the selfie shooter.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity G88 SoC. The octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Moreover, the accidental leak also reveals the smartphone to come in three variants. Now, these three variants are a 4GB/64GB, 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB, respectively.

For photos and videos, the budget smartphone will feature a quad rear camera setup. The setup will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. In addition, there will also be a two 2-megapixel sensors in the setup. On the software front, the device will run on Android 11 with the MIUI 12.5 custom skin on top. The smartphone will be available for purchase in the Carbon Gray, Pebble White and Sea Blue colour options.

On the battery front, the smartphone will be fueled by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. The smartphone will also feature 9W reverse charging support. Moreover, the handset will also come with a 22.5W fast charger in the box itself. We will also see the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack alongside a modern side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. The device is said to measure 161.96 x 75.54 x 8.93mm and weigh 182 grams.
