Redmi 10 Gets Approval on NBTC Website; Can Launch Soon

    Redmi 10 moniker spotted on NBTC certification

Redmi 10 details have leaked a lot in the past few weeks. To recall, it is a successor of the Redmi 9 series that launched last year. However, the company has not launched its launch date but leaks are hinting at the imminent launch. Moreover, this smartphone comes under the budget smartphone. Now, in a recent development, the smartphone has received its approval from the NBTC certification site.

Although Xiaomi is yet to make an official announcement on the same. Meanwhile, some key details of the upcoming Redmi 10 series have leaked online. The smartphone has also visited the IMEI and FCC websites ahead of the launch. Let’s take a look at the device’s specs, features, and other details leaked.

Redmi 10 moniker spotted on NBTC certification

This particular certification does not reveal any specifications of the upcoming Redmi phone. However, it confirms the model number and moniker and tells us that it will launch in Thailand soon. Although we have a pretty good idea of what we can expect on Redmi 10 in terms of specs and design.

Earlier leak by tipster Mukul Sharma revealed design images and specs listed on some e-commerce websites for the phone.

According to the specs sheet, Redmi 10 has a flat hole-punch display. The cutout is at the top centre of the display, similar to the Note 10 series. In terms of optics, it sports a quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera. It also includes an 8MP lens (possibly an ultrawide) and two 2MP sensors. Moreover, the LED flash is placed inside the camera module. It also has an 8MP front camera sensor.

It will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There is no mention of what kind of panel. Although considering Redmi 10 is a budget phone, it can be LCD. Under the hood, the phone draws power from a MediaTek Dimensity G88 processor and Mali G52 GPU. It will have a 6GB + 128GB variant. The phone will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

In terms of design, the Redmi 10 renders show a flat hole-punch display with pretty slim bezels all around. In the renders, the much affordable Redmi 10 phone looks much like the Redmi Note 10 series. Meanwhile, the official pricing of the phone is not yet. We can expect more leaks to reveal more as it inches closer to launch.
