Vivo X70 Pro Surfaces on Bluetooth SIG Certification; Hints Imminent Launch

Vivo is readying itself up for the launch of the Vivo X70 series. We are expecting three new flagship devices in the lineup – X70, Vivo X70 Pro, and Vivo X70Pro+. Although the company has yet to confirm the devices’ official launch date. Some key details about the new flagship series have started to surface online. In a recent development, the smartphone has surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG website revealing the model number.

Meanwhile, earlier Vivo X70 Pro made an appearance on Geekbench a few days back. The Geekbench listing revealed the hardware specifications of the handset.

According to the Bluetooth SIG certification, the Pro model carries the model number V2015. The device has Bluetooth v5.2 support as per the Bluetooth SIG document. Moreover, the certification document doesn’t reveal any specifications of the device other than the model number and Bluetooth version.

Although the Geekbench listing of the Vivo X70 Pro revealed some details of its hardware. It shows off the same model number as the above listing on Bluetooth SIG. According to the listing, Vivo is planning to release a Pro model with 12GB of RAM. It will come pre-installed with Android 11. For the China model, the phone will feature an Origin OS layer on top. Its international variants can come with a layer of Funtouch OS 11 preinstalled.

In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the Vivo X70 Pro scored 859 and 2638 marks, respectively. The device’s other specifications are not revealed in the listing. Meanwhile, according to previous reports, X70 Pro will cost around ₹50,000 in India. Whereas, its’ premium variant will cost ₹20,000 more than the Pro model. As of now the launch date of these devices is not announced by Vivo. Although we can expect an imminent launch soon considering its’ leaks.
