Samsung Galaxy A20 Starts Receiving Android 11-Based One UI 3.1 Update In India

The Samsung Galaxy A20 has finally received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 Update in India. The smartphone was launched way back in March of 2019. The handset came with Android 9 back then. The latest One UI 3.1 update first started rolling out in Russia and has gradually arrived in India.

The latest Android 11 update for the Samsung Galaxy A20 in India comes with firmware version of A205FXXUACUF3. Moreover, the update includes the June 2021 Android security patch as well. Usres of the device can expect to see a redesigned UI alongside other Android 11 features. These features include chat bubbles and one-time permissions.

The latest update has already started rolling out to the Galaxy A20 devices. Moreover, in a few weeks time, it will reach every device. However, one can check for the update availability on their Galaxy A20 device by navigating to Settings > Software Update.

The Samsung Galaxy A20 features a large 6.4-inch HD+ Infinity-V AMOLED display. Additionally, the handset ran on Android Pie at the time of launch, back in 2019. The OS was paired with the One UI on top. Taking the latest updates into account, the device will run on Android 11 with the One UI 3.1 custom skin on top.

On the processor front, the Samsung Galaxy A20 will run on the Exynoss 7884 SoC. Additionally, this chipset is coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage on the device is expandable as well.

When it comes to the cameras, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, the handset comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The Samsung Galaxy A20 packs a decent 4000mAh battery along with 15W fast charging support. Additionally, the smartphone comes with a USB Type-C port for charging and a rear fingerprint scanner for security.
