The PlayStation 5 prices have increased in other regions. Now even Indians have to spend more to buy a Sony PS5 console. The prices of the PS5 console—both the Disc and Digital versions—have seen a hike. Accessories like the DualSense controller, Charging Dock, and PS5 HD Camera will be sold at the current MSRP.

Accessories Availability And Prices
On Sony India’s ShopAtSc website, the PlayStation 5 console now shows the updated MSRP of Rs. 54,990 for the disc console. The price of the digital console is Rs. 44,990.
Accessories including the PS5 DualSense controller, HD Camera, Pulse 3D headphones and PS5 DualSense Charging Station will be available at the current MSRP of Rs 5,990, Rs 5,190, Rs 8,590 and Rs 2,590 respectively.

But Sony India has not given any official confirmation about the same. Now unless the new price on the ShopAtSc website is a pricing error (which is unlikely), it is suggested that the company is waiting for God of War Ragnarok to launch on November 9. Maybe after that, it will announce the new price officially.
This hike in price is in line with other regions around the world including, Europe, the Middle East, Canada, and more. But, it is expected that the price hike may not have any long-term effect on Sony PS5 sales in India.

This comes across after the rival brand’s Xbox Series X sees a price hike for the third time in India. The Xbox Series X is now available at Rs. 55,990 in India.
