Samsung appears to be trimming costs where it can, likely to offset the premium price of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite 2” chip. Among the rumored upgrades, Samsung is said to be slimming down the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s chassis, thanks to advancements in battery energy density. Instead of pushing past the familiar 5,000mAh capacity, the company seems to be focusing on a more refined, streamlined design.
