Mivi One 5G Design and Build
I really liked the finishing of the Mivi One 5G. I pressed around the edges of the phone, and the buttons are well-fitted; they offer a subtle tactile feel. The power button also houses the fingerprint scanner.

The back of the phone is made of high-quality plastic with a matte finish, which reveals a faint shimmering effect when light hits it. There is a vertical camera module on the rear, surrounded by a ring with a mirror-like appearance.

At 9.15mm thick, the phone feels a bit substantial in the hand, but given the price range, I have no complaints regarding the colour, materials, or overall finish.

The phone is available in five colours: Green, Blue, Dark Blue, Pink, and Burgundy. I have the Green version; it seems to be the ‘hero’ colour, and it’s my personal favourite.

As for the ports, there is a single speaker at the bottom, along with a 3.5mm headphone jack a useful feature, especially since wired earphones seem to be making a comeback.

A secondary microphone is located on the top, which helps with noise cancellation during calls.

The box also includes a transparent TPU case that fits the phone very snugly. However, a screen protector is not pre-applied like Tecno and other budget-friendly brands.
Mivi One 5G Camera
As for the camera, the phone features a 50MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor from Samsung. Given this smartphone’s price point, the camera performance is reliable.

I took photos of several flowers. The colours of the yellow flowers looked quite good, and even when zoomed in on a white flower, the details remained decent. A zoomed-in shot of a leaf shows good detail, with distinct colours clearly visible.

In a photo of a building, the phone attempted to balance the HDR, though it struggled to manage the clouds in the sky effectively. Balancing skin tones in portraits is often the most challenging task, and the phone handled this reasonably well.

In portrait mode, I captured a few shots of my colleague, and the edge detection was nearly perfect, which came as a pleasant surprise. Even when zoomed in, a fair amount of detail is preserved. The selfie camera performs well in daylight.

The camera software is lag-free, and switching between modes is smooth. It includes a ‘Beauty’ mode and various other features tucked away in the ‘More’ menu, complemented by subtle haptic feedback.

One more thing I would add: I took a few shots side by side with the Redmi A7 Pro and the Mivi One 5G, and the Redmi A7 Pro performed better in terms of camera performance.

But price is one of the major factors in both phones. Anyway, in my view, the camera performance could improve further with future software updates. For a first-generation smartphone, the camera is quite impressive.

Similarly, it has an 8MP front camera that delivers quite decent selfies and is well enough for video calling and other tasks.
Mivi One 5G Battery and Charging
The Mivi One 5G features a large 6000mAh battery, which can last up to two days for an average user. This impressive battery life is due to the phone’s clean Android experience and HD+ display. Since there are fewer pixels, the GPU and processor are under less load, allowing the battery to last longer.

An 18W fast charger is included in the box. It takes approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes to charge the phone from 0% to 100%. While the charger and cable quality are good, the charging speed might feel a bit slow given the battery’s size.

During the Mivi One 5G review, I also charged it with an Apple 20W charger, but I did not notice a major difference in charging time.
Mivi One 5G Display
The Mivi One 5G features a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The brightness is quite good for this price point; I used it comfortably both indoors and outdoors.

The viewing angles are decent, and there is no noticeable colour shift when viewed from the sides. During the Mivi One 5G review, I watched 1080p videos on YouTube and Netflix content, and the experience was good. Note that the display does not support HDR.

I was a bit surprised to find a 120Hz refresh rate in this price range, even though the initial report stated it had a 90Hz refresh rate. But a good move from Mivi’s side.

For protection, it uses 2.5D Panda Glass, which is comparable to Gorilla Glass 3. Even so, I would recommend getting a tempered glass screen protector. I would also suggest using the cover that is already included in the box.
Considering the price, I liked the overall display performance, and you will not encounter any issues in daily use.
Mivi One 5G Performance
The Mivi One 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (4nm) chipset. At this price point, one typically finds 12nm processors from MediaTek or Unisoc, which generally don’t offer much performance. By opting for a Snapdragon chipset, Mivi has managed to build user trust right from the start.
In daily use, the phone feels very smooth. Apps open quickly, and UI navigation is responsive. 5G connectivity has also proven reliable; wherever 5G is available, the phone supports it. Throughout the entire testing period, I encountered no performance issues, thanks to two key factors: a capable chipset and very lightweight software.

I played BGMI on the phone. With the ‘Smooth’ graphics setting, you can reach an ‘Extreme’ frame rate, while ‘HD’ graphics support up to the ‘High’ setting. There is no HDR option, as the display itself does not support HDR.
Even at maximum settings, the game ran smoothly. It is rare to find such strong gaming performance at this price point; the device delivers an excellent BGMI experience, especially at medium settings. Because of the 4nm chipset, the phone stays relatively cool and is power-efficient.

During the Mivi One 5G review, I also ran several Benchmark tests to assess its performance across different aspects. Its Geekbench scores are 804 in single-core and 2089 in multi-core. No CPU throttling test was detected in my test. Moreover, its Antutu score is 684481. The 3D Mark Wildlife Extreme Stress Test for stability has an overall score of 98.4%.
Mivi One 5G Software and UI
Software is one of the biggest strengths of this phone. The Mivi One 5G runs on Pure Android 16 and is completely free of bloatware.

There are no advertisements on the lock screen, and no unnecessary apps come pre-installed. Mivi has implemented stock Android very thoughtfully.

Stock Android does not mean a lack of features; it includes essential security tools, Digital Wellbeing, and child safety features. You can confidently store your banking apps and private data on the device.

It uses the Google dialer, and you get haptic feedback while typing or navigating back. The phone is well-optimised, thanks to the Snapdragon processor. The overall software experience feels smooth, which was the best part for me in the Mivi One 5G review.

As for updates, the phone will receive two major Android upgrades. It currently runs on Android 16 and will be updated to Android 18.
The Mivi One 5G has made a strong impression right from its debut. In terms of design, build quality, box contents, camera, battery, software, and performance, the phone delivers well for its price point. What I liked most was its clean Android interface, the performance of the Snapdragon processor, and the 6000mAh battery.
Mivi also stands firm when it comes to after-sales service. The company claims to have over 500 service centres covering 19,000 pin codes. The phone comes with a one-year warranty and a 7-day replacement policy. Mivi has been operating in India for the past 10 years, and I haven’t heard any major complaints regarding service for their older products.
After the Mivi One 5G review, I believe this is a solid choice. This isn’t about sentiment; the phone is genuinely good for its price.
