Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro Review: A Bold Reminder That 4G Isn’t Done Bro

Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro is priced at Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The higher-end 4GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 16,999. This is avilable in four colours: Burgundy Red, Sunrise Orange, Eclipse Black, and Mist Silver. You can buy it via offline retail stores, Amazon, and Flipkart.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro 4G packs the following items inside the box:

• Phone
• 15W Charger
• Type C cable

• Documentation

Before we talk in detail about the Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro 4G, let’s see what the on-paper specs look like:

• Display: 6.78 inches IPS LCD screen

• RAM & ROM: 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM
• Software: Android 16, HIOS 16
• Rear camera: 13MP

At first glance, the Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro impresses with its premium look. This phone’s design is highly influenced by the Apple iPhone 17 Pro in Cosmo Orange.

Interestingly, I was also using the Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro for review in Sunrise Orange colour. This phone is also available in Burgundy Red, Eclipse Black, and Mist Silver.

Its slim 8.04mm body is crafted from polycarbonate, featuring a subtle texture that enhances grip and resists fingerprints. The matte-finish frame around the rear camera module, slim bezels on the front, and gently curved edges ensure the phone fits comfortably in the hand.

So, I never felt that the phone is slippery in the hand, and I even used it without a cover.

Its standout feature is the IP68/IP69 rating, meaning it withstands dust, dirt, water, and even high-pressure jet sprays. Tecno includes a colour-matched textured case and a pre-applied screen protector in the box. This is very rare in any brand, which eliminates the need for additional accessory purchases.

The Spark Go 3 Pro’s camera setup features a 13-megapixel primary sensor and an LED flash.

Its daylight photos look detailed and colourful, with fine detail well preserved even at the edges. I clicked a few images during the Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro review, which you can see.

To be honest, we cannot expect the best results, but compared to other phones at similar prices, like the Redmi A7 Pro, the Spark Go 3 stands out.

Portrait mode blurs the background accurately, making the subject stand out. Quality dips slightly in low light, which is obvious. So, you will see some noise and softer details in low light.

Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro has an 8-megapixel selfie camera. So, it offers decent images, while you can take better selfies in low light with the help of the screen flash.

Overall, the camera setup performs admirably for its price point, though one shouldn’t expect miraculous results.

Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro has a 5,200 mAh battery, which is a strong point of this phone. It easily lasts up to a day and a half for routine tasks like web browsing, social media, and calling, and still manages a full day even with continuous video streaming or gaming.

The phone supports 15W charging, but only a 10W adapter is included in the box, resulting in a charge time of about 3 hours from zero to full.

If you use a 15W PD charger, the time drops to approximately 2.5 hours. Reverse-wired charging is also supported, allowing you to charge other phones or smart devices at up to 10W when needed.

Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro has a 6.78-inch HD+ IPS-LCD panel that isn’t technically Full HD. It also includes a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, which looks like an incredible move at that price point.

But honestly, animations feel jittery while scrolling through social media, and even light gaming is laggy. So, on paper it looks mind-blowing, but in real-world usage, nothing more than ostentation.

The peak brightness of 580 nits makes viewing content easy, even in midday sunlight. It also supports wet-touch and oily-finger usage, a feature usually found only in flagship phones; the screen responds accurately even in the rain.

So, this is an incredible move by Tecno, which is also a rare feature. Yes, the text might occasionally appear slightly less sharp due to the 720p resolution, but colour reproduction is balanced and viewing angles are good.

Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G81 (12nm) chipset. This phone handles everyday tasks with ease. With 4GB of LPDDR4x RAM and the option for an additional 8GB of virtual RAM, multitasking remains smooth in most of the time. But I can not say I had a lag-free experience during usage.

So, you can do some activities smoothly, such as social media usage, chatting, HD video playback, and casual gaming like Free Fire. However, if you play high-end games like BGMI or Asphalt with high graphics settings for extended periods, you will experience frame drops and the device will get warm. The UFS 2.2 storage helps with app launch times and file copying speeds. Since it is a 4G-only device, those looking for 5G connectivity might be disappointed.

I also ran several Benchmark tests on the Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro to assess its performance across different aspects. Its Geekbench scores are 372 in single-core and 1361 in multi-core. The maximum in the CPU throttling test is 77 per cent. Moreover, its Antutu score is 423117.

The Tecno Spark Go 3 Pro runs on HiOS 16, based on Android 16.

The interface is packed with features like colourful icons, custom themes, and shortcut tools such as the Smart Panel.

Its home page is totally inspired by iOS 26. After using this phone, you may experience some iOS-like features.

After the initial setup, you will notice some preloaded apps; remove them immediately. Otherwise, it can slow your device after multiple updates.

Both the fingerprint scanner and face unlock work quickly. It is good to see a promise of two years of security updates, although Tecno needs to provide more clarity regarding Android version updates.

Overall, the UI feels good, and there are very few intrusive ad notifications.
