    Sony PS5 Restock: Pre-orders Starting on January 18

The PlayStation 5 will be available in stock in India on Tuesday, January 18, at 12 p.m. (noon). Along with Amazon, Sony’s online shop ShopAtSC has provided the updated restock information. This is the first time the Sony PS5 will be available in 2022, and stores such as Croma, Flipkart, Prepaid Gamer Card, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales are likely to restock the console on Tuesday. These e-commerce retailers currently have the console displayed on their websites without a pre-order date.

The PlayStation 5 page of Sony’s online store has been updated with a banner announcing the pre-order time and date for PS5. Customers who pre-order the PlayStation 5 on January 18 will receive their PS5s on February 8.

Amazon India has likewise confirmed that it will restock Sony PS5 on January 18, using the same banner with information on the pre-order date and time. However, Amazon has yet to provide a delivery date. PS5 is available on a number of online websites, including Flipkart and Croma, as well as well-known retailers such as Games The Shop, Vijay Sales, and Prepaid Gamer Card. Despite this, none of them has given detailed information about pre-orders and shipment.

The new restock in 2022 comes only three weeks after the Sony PS5 was on sale in India for the last time on December 28. The PS5 was sold out in minutes, just like it had been on previous sale dates. The PlayStation 5 was released worldwide in November 2020 and came to India in early 2021. The standard edition of the PS5 costs Rs. 49,990, while the Digital Edition costs Rs. 39,990.

Sony is also developing a subscription service like the Xbox Game Pass, which could launch this year. Sony has been exploring new methods to compete with Xbox, and this digital subscription could be one of them. Additionally, the company is looking forward to increasing game sales because more and more PlayStation exclusive games are now available on PC via Steam.
