Vivo Y-Series Might Be Replaced With This New Series Soon

Vivo launched its first entry into T-series in India just a few months ago. The series so far includes two devices – Vivo T1 and Vivo T1x. Although now the series is exclusive to China, it looks like things are going to change soon. According to 91mobiles via industry sources that Vivo will indeed bring the series to India. The Vivo T series will reportedly replace the brand’s existing Vivo Y-series of smartphones in the country.

Vivo T-series coming soon to India

From what we have gathered, Vivo will launch its first Vivo T-series smartphone in India sometime in Q1 2022. However, we have no idea as to whether the already launched phones in China will launch in India. Or is it going to make its’ entry with something new? Additionally, there’s a possibility that the brand might replace its existing Vivo Y- series with the new Vivo T series.

To recall for Vivo T-series, Vivo T1 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. Whereas, the Vivo T1x is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. Other specs include an LCD display on both smartphones. Vivo T1 and Vivo T1X may feature a 64-megapixel main camera on the back. The tipster claims that the Vivo T1 and Vivo T1X may pack a 5,000mAh battery.
