WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging service, has launched a new chatbot in India in partnership with the non-profit Girl Effect. “Bol Behen” is the name of the AI-based chatbot “. It will provide support to adolescent girls and young women concerned about their overall health and sexual well-being. The Chatbot will deliver material on issues such as relationships, sexuality, and reproductive health in both Hindi and English (Hinglish). The new Chatbot, according to the Facebook-owned messaging service, aims at adolescent girls and young women in India’s Hindi belt. An earlier version of this Chatbot, dubbed “Big Sis,” was developed in South Africa to provide women with accessible and nonjudgmental guidance. The guidance is on various sensitive issues about their sexual healthcare and relationships.
