The ability to create polls was rolled out earlier for all users on WhatsApp. It was for both iOS and Android. This came after the announcement made by Mark Zuckerberg on Facebook.
This feature is rolling out slowly to all users on mobile devices for approximately in few weeks. It has been happening since the official announcement.
WhatsApp Poll Feature For Desktop
However, there is still some time for it to reach everyone on the Desktop. After bringing this feature on WhatsApp beta for Windows two days ago, now this rollout is happening fully fledged. As everyone on the latest version of WhatsApp Desktop can finally create polls.

This feature is for Android and iOS. Now the users can create a poll within an individual or group chat. There will be only 12 options after entering your question.
The users can view anyone who replies to their poll by choosing an option. They can even see the most voted answer by opening the poll information. As known, polls on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted.
That means, no one, not even WhatsApp, can view their content. It will be only shared with people with whom the users share the poll.

The availability of polls for WhatsApp for Android, iOS, and Windows has finally come for everyone. It has happened since the last rollout on the most updated version of WhatsApp Desktop.
