The feature enables users to swiftly record and send videos to other recipients within the chat. WABetaInfo confirms the latest WhatsApp beta versions (iOS, Android position video messages feature on the chat bar. This positioning allows easy access and integration within the messaging interface. The new video messages feature is placed beside the buttons for attachments, the camera, and the WhatsApp Pay icon (where applicable). The new video messages feature can be found on the microphone button at the screen’s bottom-right corner.

According to the feature tracker, tapping the microphone icon in a WhatsApp chat window will transform it into a camera icon. This action enables you to record a video message that can last up to 60 seconds. Upon receiving a video message, a single tap enlarges it and enables audio playback, as suggested by WABetaInfo. This indicates that the video message will have default mute settings.
