Xiaomi, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has introduced its latest tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6, to the Indian market. This new device follows the successful launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6 in China earlier this year. Boasting an 11-inch LCD display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset, and running on MIUI 14 based on Android 13, the Xiaomi Pad 6 offers an impressive array of features for consumers. Xiaomi Pad 6: Price In India
The tablet is available at Rs. 26,999 for the 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. In contrast, for the 8GB + 256GB storage variant it is priced at Rs. 28,999. However, customers can take advantage of an ICICI Bank instant discount offer, reducing the prices to Rs. 23,999 and Rs. 25,999, respectively.
The tablet will be available for purchase in India starting from June 21 through various channels, including Amazon, Mi.com, and offline retail stores. Alongside the Xiaomi Pad 6, Xiaomi is also offering accessories such as the Xiaomi Pad 6 keyboard attachment available at Rs. 4,999, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Smart Cover at Rs. 1,499, and the second-generation Xiaomi Smart Pen at Rs. 5,999. Lastly, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available in Graphite Grey and Mist Blue colour options.
Specifications
The newly launched Xiaomi Pad 6 sports an 11-inch 2.8K (1,800×2,880 pixels) IPS LCD screen with up to 550 nits of peak brightness. The display also boasts 309ppi pixel density, Dolby Vision support, and up to 144Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the company claims that its display is capable of seven refresh rates — 30Hz, 48Hz, 50Hz, 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz. It runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 out-of-the-box and features a Snapdragon 870 SoC, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
In terms of optics, the Xiaomi Pad 6 features a 13-megapixel rear camera. Additionally, for selfies and video chats, it comes with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with a 105-degree field of view. The tablet comes with a quad-speaker setup and supports Dolby Atmos, delivering an immersive audio experience. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port for seamless data transfer and connectivity.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 launched with a large 8,840mAh battery, which is claimed to provide over two days of battery life on a full charge. With 33W wired charging support, the tablet can be fully charged in just 100 minutes, ensuring minimal downtime. Furthermore, it features sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, as well as a hall sensor. The Pad can also support a keyboard accessory as well as the second-generation Xiaomi Smart Pen. Lastly, the tablet measures 253.95×165.18×6.51mm and weighs 490g, according to the company.
