All About WhatsApp AI Image Editing Feature

The latest research results are provided by WABetaInfo. Android’s current WhatsApp beta update 2.24.7.13 reportedly contains code that hints at an AI-powered image editor. You should know, that this feature is still in development, but users participating in the beta testing program will not be able to explore it at this time. According to the screenshots shared, the feature will exist at the top of the image-sharing page. It will be neatly combined with a new icon in the form of a drop-down menu. At this place, you are seeing the “HD” feature which was recently added by WhatsApp. So, tap on the new editing option and you’ll see three options: Expand, Adjust, and Background. Then, you will able to use it as you need.

Additionally, WhatsApp plans to introduce ‘Ask Meta’ integration within its messaging platform. The earlier report says that this feature will be in Beta version 2.24.7.14. It will allow users to submit queries to Meta AI using the search bar which will be on top of the bar. It is important to note that these two cutting-edge features are still being refined and tested. Currently, users will not be able to access these features. These will be further refined through beta testing before being rolled out to all users, and are expected to eventually be rolled out to iOS to ensure consistent functionality across all platforms.
