The company is promising multiple other features apart from 5G connectivity making it an ideal device to go with. So, let’s check all those specs in detail to arrive at our final decision.

Oppo A96 5G Price in India

OPPO A96 price is $279. This is available for the 8GB RAM and 128GB internal base storage variant. It also comes with another 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

OPPO A96 5G price in India is expected to be Rs. 22,990. The device is said to offer 8GB RAM and a 256GB base storage variant. 

The OPPO A96 5G may come in Star Ring Breathing colour, making it an ideal option for those in search of a budget-friendly phone with remarkable features.

Oppo A96 Design

The Oppo A96 features a clean and orderly design with an almost bezel-less display, flashing a punch-hole on the top left corner for housing the selfie camera. On the rear side, there is a dual-camera setup placed on a rectangular camera bump with an LED flash adjacent to it. Looking at the rear, the fresh look adds more to the aesthetics of the Oppo A96 and feels awesome in hand with just 7.55mm thickness and 171 grams of weight.

For unlocking the device, Oppo has provided an in-display fingerprint sensor with the Oppo A96. The bottom side is featuring a Type-C charging port along with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grille on the bottom side. The power button is on the right side and the volume rockers are placed on the left side at a reachable location.

Oppo A96 comes with an exciting 6.43-inch AMOLED display. The screen is featuring a 60Hz refresh rate along with a 180Hz touch sampling rate and supports a 93% DCI-P3 Colour Gamut for offering smooth and crisp visuals.  Apart from this, the display comes with a resolution of 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 409 PPI. The Oppo A96 5G features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G, which is an Octa-core chipset with 2.2GHz clock speed and there is Adreno 619 GPU for handling the graphics. For seamless performance the Oppo A96, 5G features 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage and this can be expanded up to 1TB. Both the sim slots are 5G enabled and there is an under-display fingerprint sensor along with a face unlock feature, making the Oppo A96 5G highly secure. 

Given the RAM and processor of the device, you’ll be able to play graphics-heavy games without any interruption and thee won’t be any lag. How, there is no dedicated cooling system, so we can’t say anything about the heating issues.

On the software front, the Oppo A96 5G runs on ColorOS 12 based on Android 11, with easy access to all the Google apps.

The OPPO A96 5G is a capable performer that costs less than Rs. 25,000. Despite the fact that there are just two cameras on the rear, the major attraction is the built-in storage and configuration section. However, Oppo should have improved the camera setup of this device and provided a 90Hz refresh rate display as well with a device that could have made the overall deal more attractive. Meanwhile, there are other alternatives available in the market at the same price point with more interesting features.
