Poco M3 Pro 5G Price in India

We have to admit that we really like what Poco has been doing with their designs as of late. The two-tone design on the rear, especially the logo placement is pretty eye-catching. One thing which appears quite unusual is that Poco has split the design on the rear and placed the Poco directly under the even bigger Poco labelling. The glossy back on the rear is definitely going to pick a lot of fingerprints.
The top side features a 3.5mm headphone jack along with an IR blaster, while the right edge is holding the power button, which doubles up as the power button and there is a volume rocker as well. On the bottom, there is a speaker, a Type-C charging port and a microphone. The SIM tray is there on the left edge.
On the front, the screen is pretty flat with a punch-hole design and very minimum bezels all around. The Poco M3 Pro 5G is pretty nice to handle and you are not going to face any issues like palm rejection or anything like that as there is no curve on the screen.
As we have already mentioned in the highlights that the Poco M3 Pro 5G comprises a 90Hz refresh rate FhD+ display, this is also an LCD panel. As you go to more acute angles, looking at the screen, you do lose quite a bit of that fidelity and there is one more thing that you miss out on an LCD panel, which is Always On Display capability. The additional features include Reading Mode, 360-degree Ambient light sensors and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.
In the performance section, you’ve got a 5G chipset at an affordable price tag. Yes, the Poco M3 Pro 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset based on 7nm architecture and under the hood there is ARM-Mali G57 MC2 GPU for handling the graphics. Also, the chipset is clubbed with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage for ensuring seamless multitasking. The gaming experience is going to be decent with the Poco M3 Pro 5G, but make sure to play the games under medium graphics settings.
The Poco M3 Pro 5G runs on MIUI 12 based on Android 11, which comes with multiple pre-installed apps, which can be uninstalled later, however, the overall interface is going to be very smooth. Apart from 5G connectivity, the Poco M3 Pro 5G supports Multifunctional NFC, Bluetooth 5.1 etc.
Coming to the cameras, Poco has made it clear even in their flagship devices that they don’t necessarily look at the camera as their number one priority. On the M3 Pro 5G that is even going to be more true. Yes, there is a 48MP main sensor but you are missing a lot of different modes you might see in other MIUI powered camera apps. For content creators, the camera setup on both the front and rear doesn’t support 4K video recording. The other sensors in the rear camera include a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor, however, you are going to rely mostly on the main camera here. For the selfies, the Poco M3 Pro 5G features an 8MP sensor with multiple features including AI beauty, Movie frame etc.
As for the battery, Poco has added a huge 5000 mAh battery under the hood, which is capable of providing a full day battery backup under decent usage. Also, there is an 18W fast charging support, which is not fast though, however, at the given price point, it will be helpful to refill the battery quickly. For connecting the charger, there is a Type-c charging port available in the Poco M3 Pro 5G.
Poco is a brand that knows exactly where to raise the bar and where to trim down the specs for maintaining a healthy balance of specs to price ratio. Here the same thing is done by the company. You’ve got a decent 5G processor along with a fast and smooth display and supplemented by a large 5000 mAh battery. Overall the package is pretty good, however, the camera quality could’ve been better.
