Realme 7 Pro gets a Pro Design thanks to its brilliant mirror design. It comes with a bold split that splits the back panel into two distinct sections with a line passing through the rear camera setup. The light effects on both these sections are different which is what makes it lucrative when you look at it. It is using AG processing with classic CD textures to bring about a premium look on the phone and it looks majestic, to be honest. You can choose between Mirror Silver and Mirror Blue colour variants to choose from.
Realme 7 Pro gets a vibrant 6.4” Super AMOLED FHD+ panel with a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The display has a 409 PPI density with a whopping 90.8 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Realme 7 Pro’s display has a 98 per cent NTSC Color Gamut that adds to its USPs when it comes to the display. There’s a punch-hole cutout to the top-left corner so you won’t face any distraction issues, usually a case of notches.
Realme 7 Pro employs a uber-popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It is among the best chipsets for phones under 20K as it delivers a smooth gaming experience without any intensive lag. The processor is 75% faster than the predecessor while the CPU is 10% faster and finally, the AI integrated on the chipset is 220 per cent faster than its predecessor. All these upgrades enable the users to experience high image quality and experience no matter what you throw at it.
The phone runs on the latest Android 10-based RealmeUI 1.0 so getting an Android 11 upgrade won’t be a concern.
Realme 7 Pro sports a quad-camera setup located on the top left corner of the back panel. A 64MP primary IMX 682 sensor sits at the centre with a B&W at the bottom, an 8MP Ultra-wide-angle sensor with 119° FoV on top, and finally, a Macro Lens on the side with a LED flash.
The phone can produce high-quality images thanks to its Quad Bayer support so no matter if you are shooting at night or day, the primary cam will take care of it. A Pro Nightscape Mode gives you immense control over settings allowing you to capture quality images as you intended. An Astrophotography mode takes you on a spin with its high-octane algorithms tried and tested to create a masterpiece. Finally, a 32MP in-display camera sensor can grab quality shoots no matter what the lighting conditions are.
Realme 7 Pro sports a colossal 4,500 mAH battery that keeps it going for hours on a stretch without any hassle. The battery is capable of giving output for more than a day of mixed usage. There’s a 65W SuperDart Charge that charges the battery to its max capacity in just 34 minutes. It takes around 30 mins to charge the battery to 43% whilst gaming which is quite remarkable.
Realme did make some improvements when it comes to adding the water-repellent coating, a Super AMOLED display, twice as large 32MP front sensor, and others. However, it uses the same processor that its predecessor Realme 6 Pro used which is a buzzkill, to be honest. It does get a few things right, however, a slightly powerful processor could have been great. A 65W SuperDart Charge is awesome but you will have to compromise with the same old processor that the March 2020 model had.
