After the Samsung brand, the most trusted brand in India is the Redmi. The Chinese smartphone brand has maintained its reputation across India with its stunning smartphones at decent price tags and the performance has always been at the top. With the emergence of 5G now, Redmi has started incorporating it into its devices and started to bring ned 5G smartphones into the market. Here is a brief review of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G. Check it out to know all the details in depth.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is likely to be priced at around Rs.17,090 in India. On August 25, 2021, Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is expected to be released in India. This is the base edition of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage, which will be available in Blue, Green, and White colours.

The build quality and design are very solid here with a Glass front and Glass back. On the rear side, there is anti-glare glass and on the front, there is Gorilla Glass Victus. For offering a better grip, the finish on the rear panel is textured. Not only this, there is IP53 dust and water resistance.

Speaking of the design language, which is the same as that in the Redmi Note 10 series smartphones. There is a rectangular camera setup at the top left corner on the rear along with Redmi branding at the bottom. The front side features a centre punch-hole along with a small chin.

The smartphone measures 8.9mm in thickness and weighs 193 grams, which makes it quite bulky for those with small hands. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right edge incorporated on the power button, along with the volume rocker. The bottom side features a Type-C charging port along with a microphone and a speaker grille, while the top features an IR blaster. There is a SIM tray on the left edge.

Coming to the display, there is a 6.67-inch LCD  display with FHD+ resolution. Although there is no AMOLED panel, it has been compensated with the whooping 120Hz refresh rate along with 240Hz of the touch sampling rate. The other features include a 20:9 aspect ratio and 399 PPI pixel density along with HDR10 and Widevine L1 support. The overall display quality is pretty good, however, the addition of an AMOLED panel would have been a game-changing move.

Moving to the performance, Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G features the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chipset for enabling 5G, which is a strong and capable processor. The chipset is based on 6nm architecture, which means the energy efficiency is great here. For handling the graphics, there is ARM Mali G77 MC9 GPU. Both the gaming and graphics performance is going to be truly awesome here.

Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G features LPDDR4X 6GB RAM along with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. So the overall performance is of premium quality here. As for the software, the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.1 skin on top. For a great multimedia experience, there is a Dual Stereo speaker system tuned by JBL.

Coming to the cameras, there is a triple camera setup on the rear with a 64 MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide angle sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. It appears the camera setup is slightly lagging behind here. Although there is a 64MP main camera with EIS and an 8MP ultrawide sensor, the 2MP macro camera is very less here when Xiaomi is offering 5MP macro cameras in its devices. You can record 4k videos at 30fps. The overall camera module on the rear is of average quality.

On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera, which is capable of recording 1080p videos at 30fps. The front camera is very decent here.

The battery inside the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G is 5000 mAh, which is of decent size. Now what is more interesting here is the 67W insane fast-charging compatibility. You are not going to complain here as you are being provided with both a large batter and the means to refill it very rapidly to resume your daily chores. For connecting the charger, there is a Type-C charging port.

The overall specifications apart from the cameras are very powerful. You are getting a strong processor, excellent display, good battery backup along with mesmerizing fast charging support and much more. In short, if the base variant comes at a 19K price tag, then this is going to be a killer deal.
