Samsung Galaxy A6s sports a 6-inch (15.24 cm) display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels. It has an Octa-Core processor and runs on Android v8.0 (Oreo) operating system. With 6GB RAM, it has an internal memory of 64GB, with another variant being of 128GB. The massive RAM will ensure that the phone can smoothly handle memory-intensive applications without displaying any signs of lagging.
It also features a host of great options like a Fingerprint Sensor, Proximity Sensor, G- Sensor, Accelerometer, Compass, Gyroscope, Face Unlock, Bokeh Mode, and Hall-effect, among others. There will be four colour options available for this model – Black, Blue, Pink, and Red.
In India, the starting price of Samsung Galaxy A6s (64GB variant) will be around Rs. 19000.
In the first glance itself, you can see that the phone features the Infinity Display oh so proudly. The rear panel of the phone is super glossy and features a vertical dual camera setup and a pill-shaped fingerprint sensor. The side bezel is quite thick. While the bottom bezel is empty, the upper bezel houses the selfie camera and an earpiece. On one side, the phone features the volume and power buttons and on the other, lies the SIM tray. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack, an external speaker, and a USB Type-C port.
The display is the primary attraction of the Samsung Galaxy A6s. Boasting a 6-inch Super AMOLED full-HD+ Infinity Display, it has a resolution of 1080 x 2160 at 402 PPI. Naturally, the gaming, browsing, and reading experience on this device will be incredible! The dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy A6s are 156.14×76.4×8.39mm.
On the performance ground, Galaxy A6s is quite smooth, and it should be, considering that it runs on an Octa-Core (2.2 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260 + 1.8 GHz, Quad core, Kryo 260) Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 6 GB of RAM. It is based on Android Oreo.
The 6GB RAM combined with 64GB internal storage offers a lot of space and promises a seamless and lag-free experience.
Samsung Galaxy A6s has a dual camera setting (12+12MP rear shooters) and a 12 MP front-facing camera. The rear cameras are coupled with an LED flash that allows you to click crisp and clear snaps in bright light settings. The low-light snaps are also good, thanks to the LED flash. The 12MP selfie camera is powerful enough to help you take amazing selfies. There are various camera options such as Autofocus, Flash, LED Flash, Panorama, Digital Zoom, and much more.
Furthermore, the phone supports both Face Detection and high dynamic range (HDR) imaging. The powerful cameras make it a great phone for camera lovers!
The phone has a non-removable 3300 mAh battery. While it may be enough to power the phone for a day for light to medium usage, it might not be sufficient for intensive gaming or continuous browsing, considering the screen size and processor capacity.
There’s a host of connectivity options including Bluetooth v5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, VoLTE, NFC, and GPS.
