The Samsung Galaxy A70 looks strong and matches its power with its capable hardware. About the Mobile Phone

The Samsung Galaxy A70 does not only stand on its brand name, it arrives with significant hardware too. It has a few pros and cons:

    Pros

    • The near premium 3D Glasstic design makes it a handsome and easy-to-use phone.
    • Samsung Galaxy A70 boasts the famed Samsung Super AMOLED display to give you that immersive experience.
    • The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor.
    • The display has a unique 20:9 aspect ratio, which is great for viewing videos and cinemas.
    • The phone comes with a mid-range processor which performs fast and beats its competitors too.
    • The phone provides a fantastic battery paired with efficient fast charging technology to keep the phone chugging for long.

    Cons

    • The loudspeaker of the phone can get tinny.
    • The camera performance is not consistent and turns out to be quite mediocre.
    • The phone does not have stabilisers like OIS or EIS.

As a mid-range phone, the Samsung Galaxy A70 is a successful phone. It checks the right spots expected from a mid-range handset. Samsung Galaxy A70 has all the potential to beat its competitors and draw the mid-range market towards it.

The premium-marvel Samsung is looking to steal the mid-range market with the Samsung Galaxy A70. Priced at Rs. 28,990, the Samsung Galaxy A70 has almost everything that a mid-range phone should have.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 looks strong and matches its power with its capable hardware. It provides consistent performance, though its camera performance is what keeps it from becoming mid-range king. However, the Samsung Galaxy A70 holds true to its title and delivers a worthy handset for the mid-range audience.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 does not carry that beautiful design that A80 has. It is somewhat similar to the Galaxy A50 model. It follows the same ‘3D Glasstic’ design. The term Glasstic refers to the plastic used, which looks a lot like glass. So, it looks premium because of this feature. Plus, the phone is quite compact and manageable. There are minimal bezels present on the front of this set. It has a polycarbonate body which curves at just the right places to make it look sleek and settle comfortably in your hand. The optical fingerprint sensor is placed just below the display. It is covered by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone has a gradient look on its rear which shimmers when the light falls on it from certain angles. It has a triple-camera module on its back. The phone comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port. However, the in-display fingerprint sensor is not very consistent and quite slow.

Samsung Galaxy A70 comes with a sizeable 6.7-inch Infinity U screen. It has the bright and famed Super AMOLED screen of Samsung. Expect the incredible deep blacks and the dynamic contrast levels with this phone. The display is plenty bright and is legible outdoors too. The phone has a 420nit brightness, which is lovely. The aspect ratio of 20:9 is suited to give you an immersive experience. Samsung claims that it will provide an enjoyable cinematic experience. Even the touch response of the display is brilliant.

While Redmi Note 7 Pro arrives with the same processor, the Samsung Galaxy A70 is twice as fast due to its optimised software. Daily use is lightning-fast and reliable. Even high-end games like PUBG or Asphalt 9 runs without a problem. Heat is also better dissipated than Redmi Note 7 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy A70 shares Samsung’s love of triple camera set. It comes with a 32MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, 8MP wide angle camera and a 5MP supporting camera for depth sensing. The camera does an excellent job with proper lighting conditions. However, in harsh sunlight, the exposure might appear blown out, when indoors, the phone does a better job. The pictures appear vibrant and clean. However, noise cancellation can be a bit aggressive, losing out on natural details. The wide-angle camera works well but gets fuzzy at the edges. Live Focus mode uses the depth-sensing camera – it works marvellously, and you can also adjust the blur manually.

Samsung Galaxy A70 comes with a large 4,500mAh battery. It is activated with fast charging, and so you can get a full charge in just over an hour. The phone performs well, chugging through the entire day with about 15% left. It makes the phone a reliable handset.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 has Dolby Atmos support. It will provide an immersive experience if you use headphones with it. However, mono speakers do not deliver the same experience as the volume can be tinny.

The Samsung Galaxy A70 is a great phone for both multimedia purposes and essential apps functions. It comes with a fast processor, capable battery, and Samsung guaranteed Super AMOLED Display. However, the camera could have been more versatile. The lack of OIS and EIS is disappointing. It might turn out to be a mid-range heart stealer, along with the brand name that it comes with.
