Samsung Galaxy M01 Core was launched in India on 27th July 2020. The entry-level smartphone was launched with a 5.30-inch display featuring 7201480 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The smartphone belongs to the company’s most affordable Galaxy M-series line up and is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor. Samsung Galaxy M01 Core comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and the device is running on Android Go Edition. For powering the device, the smartphone is included with 3000 mAh battery.

Featuring 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is priced at Rs. 5475 and is available on online stores like Amazon, Flipkart etc. The colours in which this smartphone is available are Red, Blue and Black.

The design of Samsung Galaxy M01 Core appears outdated when compared with other smartphones available in the market. The smartphone is featuring a plastic unibody design with its display offering thick bezels around the bottom and top portion of the display. On the rear side, the smartphone is mounted with single-camera setup and on the bottom side, there is micro USB 2.0 along with an audio jack. The volume and power buttons are placed on the right side at a suitable location. The overall design of the Samsung Galaxy M01 Core doesn’t provide a satisfying look.

Samsung Galaxy M01 core comes with 5.30-inch HD+ TFT LCD touchscreen with a screen resolution of 7201480 pixels and a pixel density of 311PPI. For immersive visual experience, the smartphone is provided with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 along with screen to body ratio of 74.87%.

The latest entry-level smartphone from Samsung is powered by MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor, offering peal CPU clock speed of 1.5GHz. For handling the graphics of the smartphone, Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is provided with PowerVR Rogue GE8100 GPU. There is 1GB RAM included with the device along with 16GB internal storage which is expandable through a dedicated microSD card slot up to 512GB.

The smartphone is not running on the regular Android 10, it’s provided with the Go Edition, requiring little resources for running the whole device smoothly.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is featuring 8MP primary camera on the rear side with an aperture of f/2.2 and 4X digital zoom, supporting HD video recording 1080p at 30fps  and capable of capturing decent pictures in well-lit conditions. In low-light conditions, the quality of the picture is not best at all. The additional features included are Exposure compensation, Continuous shooting and Auto Flash. When it comes to the front camera, Samsung Galaxy M01 Core is stuffed with 5MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.4, capable of HD video recording along with facial recognition features. For online meetings and video calling, the front camera provides satisfying services.

For ensuring day-long usage, the smartphone is provided with 3000mAh mid-sized battery with slow charging.  The Li-on non-removable battery offers 17 hours of talk time. The other features included are Mobile Hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi Direct, A-GPS and micro USB 2.0.
