Samsung Galaxy M01 is a recently launched budget smartphone in India by the most trusted smartphone-maker brand of the world. Announced in the sub Rs.10000 segment, this device is aimed at targeting the audience switching to Realme and Xiaomi in the affordable price range. Samsung Galaxy M01 comes with a decent HD+ Infinity-V display, dual rear cameras and a 4000 mAh battery to give power to the device.

Samsung Galaxy M01 Price in India

Samsung Galaxy M01 adds to the wide range of smartphones available in the affordable price segment. Samsung Galaxy M01 price in India is set at Rs.8,999 for the 3GB+32GB storage variant. It will be available via the Samsung official e-store, Amazon, Flipkart and across all the offline stores.

In this price range, Samsung Galaxy M01 can be considered for the trust and fame the brand has. Otherwise, a lot of other options with slightly better options are also available in this segment.

Samsung Galaxy M01 features a comparatively smaller display size of 5.7-inch which makes the size of the smartphone handy and comfortable to hold. With the presence of bezels around the edges as well as the chin, there is a tiny water-drop notch which holds the selfie camera. On the backside, we get to see a dual rear camera with a flash, Samsung branding and a speaker grille on a polycarbonate finish body. The Galaxy M01 comes with Dolby ATMOS technology which delivers an impressive surround sound for the users. This device ditches the fingerprint sensor and instead, comes with face unlock feature.

Samsung Galaxy M01 is available in three colour options – Black, Blue and Red.

Samsung smartphones are a lot about the impressive displays. With the Samsung Galaxy M01 comes the 5.7-inch HD+ Infinity-V display. The screen has a 720p resolution with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen-to-body ratio is very less and sets at just 77.1%, mainly due to the visible bezels around the border of the screen.

Samsung Galaxy M01 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC and comes with just single variant of RAM which is 3G RAM and 32GB internal storage. The internal memory is expandable up to 512GB with an external Micro SD card.

Samsung Galaxy M01 runs on Android 10 backed by Samsung’s OneUI 2.0 skin. It also comes with a pre-installed Samsung Health App to let the users monitor their health all the time.

Samsung Galaxy M01 features an average dual camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth camera. For the selfies, there is a provision of a 5MP front camera hidden inside the notch. This budget device does not focus much on the camera specs, but the camera shots turn out pretty decent for the price it is being offered at.

Samsung Galaxy M01 carries a large battery capacity of 4000 mAh, sufficient to last for a complete day with regular usage on a 5.7-inch display. There is no support for fast charging as seen in the Samsung Galaxy M11.

Coming from a trusted brand like Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy M01 can be definitely considered for great performance at this price. Samsung Galaxy M01, with Snapdragon 439 and 4000 mAh battery is capable of delivering a lot more in just Rs.8,999. Otherwise, a lot of other options with slightly better options are also available in this price segment from the competitors like Xiaomi, Realme and Infinix.
